Our exclusive group booking option is perfect for family gatherings, hen parties, and groups visiting or working in the local area.
By booking as a group, you will enjoy exclusive use of all four of our beautifully linked cottages, accommodating up to 17 guests in total. This allows everyone to stay together while still benefiting from the comfort and privacy of individual cottages.
Rose Cottage features an extended dining area with a large table and seating, providing the ideal space for all guests to dine and socialise together.
Each of the four cottages also has its own private hot tub, with adjoining open outdoor areas between Daisy and Rose Cottages, creating a relaxed and sociable outdoor space.
During the summer months, and exclusively for group bookings, we also provide a marquee where guests can gather to socialise, play games, and enjoy a fantastic shared outdoor community atmosphere.

"Exceptional accommodation. We hired the 4 cottages with family and friends for a weekend. Accommodation was in a perfect location. Good transport links if you want to pop into York itself which is only 7 miles away. Plenty of restaurants and shops only a 1/4 of a mile in Strensall. Not only is the accommodation great for Spring and Summer, it would also be a perfect choice for Autumn and Winter as each cottage has its own wood burning stove. Nice and private, flexible checking in. Would highly recommend booking!"
"The hot tubs were an absolute win. The whole place was so clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped, beds were very comfy and our surroundings were quiet and peaceful. Perfect place for our group who were working at Castle Howard and needed somewhere to relax and study nearby."
"I have just returned from my friend’s Hen Do at Hoxne Cottages… and WOW. What a place - it was perfect, everybody loved it. Twenty minute taxi into York (ideal for our bottomless brunch), a Tesco Express close by for the essentials we forgot, and a pub around the corner. The cottages themselves were spacious, clean, and had everything you need. The hot tubs were lovely, and the communal gazebo area was perfect for breakfast together and our evening ‘sip n paint’. Nicola & Tony were amazing the whole weekend, replied to any questions I had instantly, and were happy to leave us to enjoy ourselves. It was truly spectacular and I couldn’t have asked for more for the hen do. Thank you SO much, Nicola & Tony - we HIGHLY recommend."
"We had a wonderful stay at Nicola’s place. It was booked for my friend’s hen do and it was perfect. The lodges were beautiful, very modern and clean, each with a hot tub which was a fantastic addition. Each lodge came with a little hamper with tea and biscuits and wine too which was a lovely surprise. Nicola and Tony who live on site were both very friendly and responsive and always available if we had any questions. The area is lovely and peaceful, and only a 15 minute walk into the village where we enjoyed a lovely pub lunch. We had a great stay, and even more importantly, our bride to be had the best hen do weekend. Thank you for a lovely stay."
